About Still Waters Yacht Club
Are you interested in learning more about safe boating and participating in many
boating club activities, whether it's in a sailboat, power boat, canoe, or pontoon
boat? The StillWaters Yacht Club offers a variety of boating programs to suite any boaters needs!
The SWYC promotes sailing and power yachting, boating safety, fellowship, friendly
competition and the well being of our community through support of groups such as:
Alabama Rivers Alliance
Chamber of Commerce
Dixie Inland Yacht Racing Association
Lake Martin HOBOs
Lake Watch
U.S. Sailing and Yacht Club of America.
Our membership includes many from the StillWaters general area, but also several other areas of the lake and most cities and towns in this broad area of
Alabama and parts of Georgia.
Spring through Fall Sailing Regattas, along with Powerboat Cruises, are enhanced
by raft-ups and dockside rendezvous. The Club celebrates fellowship with its
monthly social events, many of which are held at SWYC's clubhouse, located at Harbor Pointe Marina, Stillwaters Resort |
